In Steiner schools the kindergarten years are considered to be a unique time when the kingdom of childhood can be explored and enjoyed. Our early childhood programme focuses on providing a balanced education to help foster the development of a well rounded individual.

Our kindergarten environment is warm and nurturing. Colours, furnishings and play equipment are carefully chosen for their simplicity, beauty and practicality. Our daily activities include a morning circle of songs and verses, followed by free play, cooking a morning tea to share, an artistic activity and finishing with a traditional storytelling of fairy and folkloric tales. Weekly activities include painting, drawing, gardening, music and handcrafts. The rhythm of the day and week are also reflected in a celebration of the seasonal changes in the year, with festivals for Autumn, Winter, Spring, Christmas and Easter.
